US must support Lanka to fight LTTE - Thirunesan

In a press release yesterday Nesan Thirunesan, son of the late Shankar Raji alias Nesadurai Thirunesan of EROS stated that the American Ambassador to Sri Lanka ought to retract his words that the "LTTE cannot be defeated militarily".

LTTE guns down two deserters

The LTTE on Sunday night shot dead two deserters from their ranks after Tiger cadres stormed their residence at Kondayankerni junction in Valachchenai, Valaichchenai Police said.
