Elected President of Hardware Merchants Association

AGM: Ramsons Hardware Enterprise Limited Chairman S.T.S. Arulananthan was elected President of the Ceylon Hardware Merchants Association (CHMA) at the annual general meeting held recently in Colombo.

Arulananthan addressing the members said as businessmen they should support the peace process and make every possible attempt to persuade politicians to bring a settlement soon in the interest of the country and its prosperity without any party differences.

The new President said “our Association functions as an independent organisation without any political differences. I therefore, earnestly request all of our members to follow this policy in the future whilst extending our support to the nation in its social and economic welfare.â€
