Arulkumaran has become the President-elect of the Royal College of
Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 2007.
He is the first President to get elected outside the United Kingdom.
Professor Arulkumaran who was born in 1948, is the son of the late K
Sabaratnam and Gnambikai and had his education at Jaffna Central College
and Mahajana College Telippalai.
He entered the University of Ceylon in 1972 and passed his MBBS with
Honours. He has obtained additional qualifications in Sri Lanka,
Edinburgh (UK) and Singapore. |
