Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel ties up with eChannelling Service
TIE-UP: Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel - the National Mobile
Service Provider, launched eChannelling to its subscriber base, after an
agreement was entered into recently between Mobitel and eChannelling
Service.
This service refers to gaining access to specialist doctors with the
use of Mobile Commerce, Channelling your preferred doctor becomes as
easy as dialling 225 from any Mobitel phone, a service which will be
available 24 hours.
It promises both prepaid and post paid subscribers the ease and speed
of accessing a preferred doctor, replacing the usual queues and delays
otherwise encountered.
Chief Executive Officer of Mobitel, Suren J. Amarasekara, said
“Mobitel always strives to develop new features that enhance the value
and services provided to the customer.
I believe that this new alliance will provide our customers with the
benefits of convenience, low cost and timeliness; elements which are of
value in this hectic day and age.”
Commenting on the launch of the new service Chief Executive Officer
of eChannelling, Sidath Chandrasena said “this is another important
milestone in enabling the nations population to access healthcare
services in a convenient and cost-effective manner from anywhere at
anytime.”
