Defence Ministry Campaign wins Gold

COLOMBO: The Defence Ministry’s ‘Enough: End the Terror’ campaign won a Gold Award at the Annual Chillies Advertising Awards on Saturday.

The spectacular ambient idea was created by Triad advertising at the spot where the LTTE tried to assassinate Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa. The painting of a man screaming ‘Enough: End the Terror’ attracted much attention at the time.

The International panel of judges who had praised the idea had commented that the campaign had Cannes potential.

Triad advertising is also the creators of the hugely popular morale boosting campaign Api Wenuwen Api (Together of All) for the Security Forces.
