Industry (FCCISL) Nawaz Rajabdeen.
Rajabdeen who led a business delegation to Jordan and Kuwait with
President Mahinda Rajapaksa said that the FCCISL signed a MoU with
Jordan Chamber to promote investments and employment opportunities.
He said that both countries are keen to invest in the housing
development, power, tourism, IT Parks, and in leisure sector. "To persue
these investments we have invited a high powered business delegation to
Sri Lanka from Jordan to explore the investment opportunities," he said.
The Sri Lankan delegation also successfully concluded talks with the
Jordan counterpart to export food, biscuits, tea, and other produce like
canned fruits. |
