Conference: The Annual Sales Conference of Local Manufacturing
and Distribution (LMD) Sector of Richard Pieris Distributors was held
recently with the participation of the management, sales force and the
distributor network of the company.

The sector managed to achieve a Rs. 4 billion turnover with a 45%
growth in profits in comparison to the previous year."
The LMD Sector is diversifying aggressively and has invested heavily
in manufacturing, trading and logistics sectors. In addition, the
company is planning to extensively develop the Hardware and Furniture
sectors generating substantial employment opportunities.

Sunil Liyanage acknowledged the remarkable achievements of the team. He
further stated that the teamwork, commitment and above all the
innovative ideas that came up at the right time contributed to the
success of the sector.
The most outstanding Sales Team members and the Best Distributors
were recognised at this conference with overseas holiday tours and
awards as prizes. Channa Liyanage, Chenuka Kanchana Dissanayake and M.
C. M. Fahim were chosen as the best performers.
In the distributor category, the gold awards were won by Dambulu
