Kfirs pound Tiger positions

Air Force Kfir jets pounded two LTTE mortar positions in Palampiddy, West of Omanthai in Vavuniya last morning inflicting heavy casualties on the LTTE, Military Spokesman Brigadier Prasad Samarasinghe said. The Air Force destroyed two identified LTTE mortar locations in Palampiddy, Vavuniya around 9.15 a.m.
