President Mahinda Rajapaksa paid the nation’s highest tribute to the gallant ‘War Heroes’ who sacrificed their lives and limbs in battle to defeat terrorism and protect the territorial integrity and sovereignty of their motherland.

Foreign Employment Promotion Minister Keheliya Rambukwella yesterday told Parliament that the Government provided transport facilities to 260 persons who voluntarily submitted themselves to be returned to their native places in the North-East.
