Special Police unit to handle abduction complaints

COLOMBO: Under a Presidential directive, the Police Department has established a special 24 hour Operational Unit to handle complaints regarding extortion, abductions and missing persons.

The complaints can be directed in all three major languages Sinhala, Tamil and English and the Unit will take immediate action regarding the complaints.
