Bayliss new coach
Sri Lanka Cricket yesterday decided to appoint Trevor Bayliss as new
coach to replace Tom Moody who left to take up a job in his native land
Australia.
Bayliss who is the present coach of New South Wales faced an
interview yesterday at the SLC headquarters. After the interview the SLC
officials have confirmed his appointment.
The New South Wales chief executive Dave Gilbert has said earlier
that if Bayliss is selected they are ready to release him from his
present position. Bayliss will be he fourth Australian to take charge of
the Sri Lankan team.
