Books for Jaffna Library, University from India

COLOMBO: The Indian High Commission in Colombo donated books worth Rs. 800,000 to the Jaffna Library and books worth Rs. 127,000 to the University of Jaffna.

The consignment was handed over by Indian High Commissioner Alok Prasad at a ceremony at the Indian Cultural Centre.

Jaffna Municipal Councillor Sarawanabawan received the books from the Indian High Commissioner and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. Sivabalan received the books from the High Commissioner.
