Confidence Motion against Badulla district UNP Parliamentarian
Lakshman Seneviratne. Chief Government Whip and Minister Jeyaraj
Fernandopulle and several other Ministers handed over the No
Confidence Motion to Speaker W. J. M. Lokubandara. It is signed by
78 Government MPs.

Losing two MPs will not affect majority - Cabinet Spokesman
When two Government MPs sit in the Opposition,
the Government does not lose its majority in Parliament and it had
been practically proved when the Government successfully received
approval for six supplementary estimates with a majority on Tuesday,
Information and Media Minister and the Cabinet Spokesman, Anura
Priyadarshana Yapa said.
