British police charge two for supporting LTTE
A. C. Shanthan, president of the British Tamil
Association, the high-ranking agent of the LTTE, and head of
finance, Goldan Lambert, were charged by Scotland Yard yesterday
under the Terrorism Act 2000 with providing support to the Tigers,
is a proscribed organisation in the UK.
