Inquirers’ problems not solved

ARANAYAKA: A 20-member deputation from the All Island Union of
Inquiries Into Sudden Deaths met Justice Minister Dilan Perera to
discuss a number of problems.
Though the problems presented were well received nothing had realised.
The union said in an effort to overcome the problems, we sought the
assistance of Minister of Justice Amarasiri Dodangoda.
The union said the second attempt too had failed to bring the desired
results. The union has now made representations to the President.
Though many months have passed, even President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s
intervention has failed to produce the expected results. |
