Death toll rises to eleven
The death toll in Tuesday’s claymore attack on a
forces convoy in Chettikulam rose to 11 yesterday, Security sources
said. The LTTE detonated a claymore mine fixed to a push bicycle
targeting an army convoy transporting troops going home on leave in
Chettikulam on the Mannar - Vavuniya road.
