SLAF pounds LTTE targets

MULLAITIVU: Air Force fighter jets pounded two identified LTTE targets in the North West of Oddusudan, Mullaitivu yesterday morning, AF Group Captain Ajantha Silva said.

According to Group Captain Silva the AF jets carried out two air strikes in Muthiyankattukulam, North West of Oddusudan yesterday. The first attack was carried out at 9.30 a.m and the next attack at 12.10 p.m.

"The targets were precise and identified through ground intelligence sources," he added.

Group Captain Silva said the two LTTE training camps were completely destroyed and heavy casualties caused to the Tigers.
