Susanthika wins second gold
Susanthika Jayasinghe won the women’s 200m on
Saturday to win a double at the 17th Asian Athleics Championships
now in progress in Lebanon. On Thursday she came up with a fine
performance to win the 100m clocking 11.19 secs.

England’s tour to Sri Lanka in September will go
ahead as scheduled after a delegation from the England and Wales
Cricket Board expressed their satisfaction over the security
arrangements made for the tour.
