UPASENA HIRAN CA - USA. Beloved son of Justin Upasena (Retired S.S.P. - Sri Lanka Police) and Jessie, loving brother of Hiranthi & brother-in-law of Kirthi Abayaratna, loving uncle of Shane and Shawn, much loved friend of Ruchika Gunasekara, Hiran (Old Boy of St. Thomas College, Mt. Lavinia), passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the LAC USC Hospital, California, USA. A private funeral ceremony with religious rites and cremation was conducted according to the wishes of the deceased.
