Techno 2007 confab

The National Engineering Exhibition "Techno 2007" will hold an Engineering and Technology Conference as a new feature this year parallel to the exhibition.

The objective of this conference is to bring the latest technology under the theme "Nano technology for sustainable development", Chairman Techno 2007, Ranjith Rubasinghe said.

The conference will commence from 9.00a.m. at the BMICH till 5.00 p.m. on October 16.

The sessions will include the topics such as, the Sri Lankan Nanotechnology Initiative, the State of the Art in Nanotechnology, the role of the Sri Lankan industry in Nanotechnology, and Is Nanotechnology a viable option for Sri Lanka and challenges of designing proper regulations and policy.
