Road to transforming terrorists
Repeated initiatives taken by me to bring the
LTTE back to the negotiating table failed. I tried to persuade him,
pleaded with him and even warned him, but nothing could change his
mind. Had he listened to me the entire LTTE cadre would have been
transformed by this time and the country would be enjoying full
peace, with a solution found.
