US freezes TRO assets
The United States Government yesterday froze all
assets of the Tamil Rehabilitation Organisation (TRO ), an LTTE
front, in the USA in furtherance of its declared aim of financially
isolating terrorist groups and their support networks.

LTTE confirms losing top Sea Tigers
Nine months after the incident the LTTE
confirmed that 13 of their senior sea Tiger cadres were killed
including five self styled lieutenant Colonels in an attack launched
by the Navy on February 28 at the Devondra point, the Navy said.
