Milanka, ASPI up

At the end of days trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday the All Share Price Index has increased by 12.26 points to 2,641.60 while the Milanka Price Index stands at 3,521.93 with an increase of 6.49 points and the turnover for the day is Rs. 421.1 million. A total of 8,855 trades have taken place for the day.

The top five gainers the day were: Bairaha Farms, Three Acre Farms, C. W. Mackie & Co, Regnis Lanka and Pegasus Hotel.

The top five losers for the day were Lighthouse Hotel, Kapila Heavy Equipments, L.B. Finance, Seylan Merchant Leasing and Arpico Finance.

Interim Financial results have been released by Eagle Insurance and Nestle Lanka Ltd.
