'Asia must help Lanka to wipe out terrorism'

All South Asian and Asian countries must help Sri Lanka to wipe out LTTE terrorism, Maoist Movement Leader Prachanda told Health Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.

Prachanda met Minister de Silva at the party office of the Maoist Movement in Katmandu yesterday. On an invitation by the World Health Organisation, the Health Minister is visiting Nepal De Silva also had discussions with several officers including the Foreign Minister and Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala.

They discussed facilitating Buddhist pilgrims of both countries, sharing the experience to face terrorist problems and introducing the Sri Lanka health policy in Nepal and other issues.

Prachanda told Minister de Silva: "All South Asian and Asian countries must be supported Sri Lanka to wipe out LTTE terrorism in this zone. The LTTE must stop its suicide attacks."
