Sports Editor of the Sunday Observer Lal Gunesekera was honoured by the Sri Lanka Rugby Football Union for his contribution in promoting rugby in the country as a sports journalist during the last 38 years at the felicitation ceremony for the Sri Lanka rugby team held at Bayleaf Restaurant, Gregory’s Road, Colombo on Friday.
