EDEX begins on Friday

The fifth annual EDEX education exhibition will be held from January 18 to 20 at the BMICH. Organisers expect a record turnout of over 100,000.

Representatives from 350 local and 17 overseas educational institutions will be showcasing their products at this event.

The theme for the event is 'Connect Sri Lankan Youth with choices and opportunities all over the world.'

The platinum sponsors for the event is Singer Sri Lanka and Brandix while the technology partner will be Sri Lanka Telecom. NDB Bank is the official banker. Silver sponsors are Virtusa and Esoft.

Associated Newspapers is the print media sponsor. The event is organised by the Royal College Union.

One of the unique features of the event would be the Digital Life Style showcase from SLT where new technology such as 3G and IPTV would be displayed.

The EDEX, Kandy exhibition will be held on January 22 and 23 at the Queen's Hotel.
