Forces beat back LTTE artillery attack

The Security Forces beat back LTTE artillery fire directed towards the Palali area while Air Force fighter jets pounded LTTE artillery positions located in Kalmunai point, north of Pooneryn yesterday morning, Military spokesman Brigadier Udaya Nanayakkara said.
