Air Force destroys key Tiger target

Combined LTTE ops/Sea Tiger training base targeted:

Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets yesterday carried out air raids targeting the forward operations centre and a Sea Tiger training centre in Nayaru, Mullaitivu, Air Force Spokesman Wing Commander Andi Wijesuriya said. The SLAF fighter jets pounded the target around 8.30 am yesterday.

A soaring achievement for airwomen

The Security Forces passed yet another important milestone in their history yesterday at the Katunayake Air Base as seven airwomen made their first parachute jump to pass out as the first group women paratroopers in Sri Lanka.
