Suntel and NEXT renew Agreement

After a successful partnership that spanned a decade of growth and development for all concerned, NEXT Manufacturing Ltd and NEXT Sourcing Ltd renewed their service provision agreement with Suntel Ltd for a further three years, ensuring that Sri Lanka’s leading telecom service provider will continue to supply the NEXT companies in Sri Lanka with innovative telecommunications solutions that will enable them to provide top of the line service to their clients and suppliers.

General Manager of NEXT, Chanaka Perera said NEXT Sourcing Ltd has been with Suntel since 1998.

“In addition to voice services they also provide us with data services inter-connecting our locations with leased lines allowing us to seamlessly coordinate operations between all three locations of NEXT in Sri Lanka. Our experience with them has been very positive in terms of their flexibility, reliability and service levels.

As all corporate giants in the apparel industry depend on a telecom provider for an improved communication network, we look forward to continuing our partnership with Suntel as our business expands,” he said.

At present the average Sri Lankan manufacturer has a lead time of 90 days which is high when compared to competitors within the region, an efficient network will aid in reducing this lead time thereby increasing overall competitiveness, making communication and technological upgrades a must for local manufacturers.

Head of Corporate Sales, Suntel Ltd, Ranjith Fernando commented on Suntel’s understanding of the industries competitive requirements and said “The business relationship with NEXT Manufacturing started in 1998 with a digital E1 connection to the Head Office and factory.

“From there onwards Suntel has been developing the solution enabling NEXT of quick response time and efficient business processes.

With the renewal of the agreement it is evident that Suntel has been able to maintain the trust of NEXT Manufacturing and NEXT Sourcing Ltd and we guarantee that we will continue to innovate - generating processes and technologies that enable the efficient management of resources within the organization,” he said.

With a vision to provide their corporate clientele with a total communications solution Suntel’s Corporate Services allow companies to fully outsource their telecommunications, infrastructure and service needs thereby facilitating the better management of their core businesses activities.
