Lanka, Bangladesh talks on university collaboration

Visiting Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mohammed Mustaffa on Saturday called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof SMA Faiz at the Senate Bhaban of the university.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interests specially the issue of admission of Sri Lankan students into the DU.

They also discussed the possibilities of exchanging collaborative programmes between the DU and the universities in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vadivel Krishnamoorthy, dean of Arts Faculty Prof Sadrul Amin, dean of Social Science Faculty Prof Harun-or- Rashid, dean of Science Faculty Prof Tajmeri SA Islam, dean of Business Faculty Prof Serajul Islam and dean of Pharmacy Faculty Prof Abdur Rashid were present on the occasion.
