Umpires selected for ICC U-19 World Cup Q-finals

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the umpire
appointments for the quarterfinal stages of the ICC Under 19 Cricket
World Cup which is now in progress in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
With the initial group phase now complete, the tournament is now
split into the Super League and the Plate Championship with the top two
teams from each group going into the Super League quarterfinals in Kuala
Lumpur and the bottom two heading to Johor for the Plate quarterfinals.
The on-field umpires for today’s game between Sri Lanka and New
Zealand will be Enamul Haque-Moni and Ian Robinson with GA Prathapkumar
and Gary Baxter supporting.
And in the televised game at Kinrara Oval, Pakistan and Australia go
head to head with Peter Hartley and Tyron Wijewardena standing and
Marais Erasmus and Zameer Haider as third and fourth umpires.
The match referees will be Chris Broad for the Super League
quarterfinals in Kuala Lumpur and Mike Procter for the Plate
Championship quarterfinals in Johor. Both referees are members of the
Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees.
The Super League and Plate Championship quarter-final appointments
are as follows:
25 February - Sri Lanka v New Zealand (Super League quarter-final 3),
Royal Selangor Club - Enamul Hoque-Moni and Ian Robinson (on-field), GA
Prathapkumar (third), Gary Baxter (fourth).
25 February - Pakistan v Australia (Super League quarter-final 4),
Kinrara Oval - Peter Hartley and Tyron Wijiwardena (on-field), Marais
Erasmus (third), Zameer Haider (fourth).
25 February - West Indies v Ireland (Plate quarterfinal 3), MPTI,
Johor - Roger Dill and Steve Davis (on-field), Paul Baldwin (third) and
Buddhi Pradhan (fourth).
25 February - Bermuda v Papua New Guinea (Plate quarterfinal 4),
Johor Cricket Academy - Sarika Prasad and Jeff Luck (on-field), Clyde
Duncan (third), Lakani Oala (fourth).
Appointments for the latter stages of the event will be made in due
course.
