Tiger cross loading point overrun:
The LTTE suffered yet another setback yesterday
when troops attached to the 58 Division operating on the Mannar
front further advanced towards Tiger held territory overrunning
their cross loading point in Uyilankulam and a key position in
Palakkuli East, inflicting heavy damages to the outfit.

The arrest of two Sri Lankan Tamils in Tamil
Nadu on charges of making a huge boat for the Tigers has crippled
for now their bid to stealthily make sea-worthy vessels in India.
One of the men caught Monday in a sweep involving sleuthing by the
Intelligence Bureau and Tamil Nadu Police is related to a leader of
the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, Home Ministry sources said.

base and underground artillery guns storage facility north of
