talents of our technical staff to the next level. With this, we intend
to create more job opportunities for the talented youth," he said.
In addition, our network of service stations, spare part depots,
after sales service centres and area offices are well placed and well
equipped to provide customers with superior service that we aspire as
our vision.
To further enhance the customer comfort and to provide a complete
satisfying experience, we have made in-house arrangements with many
reputed financial institutions to facilitate leasing and insurance
services, etc, so that you finalise all formalities and drive away your
vehicle in no time," he said.
"As a customer focused company, we saw that many customers lack
affordability to purchase a brand-new Japanese vehicle due to various
economic pressures of present day.
After a lengthy research and due consideration over the quality,
suitability and so forth, we joined hands with Changan/Chana Automobile
Imports and Exports Company Ltd, (A well-reputed automobile manufactures
sponsored by the Chinese Government) to bring you a high-quality and
relaxable range of brand new vehicles manufactured using Japanese
technology, with collaboration of Ford Company, Japan.
As the sole distributors in Sri Lanka for this range of vehicles, we
continuously work with them to improve the quality of vehicles that we
bring into our country.
We have obtained the sole distributorship for the famous "Atul Shakti"
diesel three-wheeler from Gujarat state, India.
With these two brands and more in the future, we are well placed to
provide you with brand new vehicles at an affordable price, thus
"meeting customer needs within their means." We have already marketed
over 600 units so far," he said.

David Pieris introduces XCD 125 DTS-Si motorcycle
David Pieris Motor Company Ltd., introduces another motorcycle to Sri
Lankan roads with the all new Bajaj XCD 125cc DTS-Si motorcycle.
Bajaj XCD 125cc DTS-Si features the new Digital Twin Spark Swirl
Induction (DTS-Si) engine which allows for a mileage of 109 kmpl under
standard test conditions while delivering the power of a 125cc engine.
This gives riders the best in fuel-economy and power from a 125cc
motorcycle.
Bajaj had first improved on existing engine technology in 2003 when
it launched the DTS-Si (Digital Twin Spark-ignition) engine with two
Spark plugs located at opposite ends of the combustion chamber (as
compared to a single spark plug in conventional 4-stroke engines) to
achieve faster and more efficient combustion.
The DTS-i technology offered better performance, improved fuel
efficiency with lower emissions.
Bajaj Auto worked on the mother DTS-i technology to design the DTS-Si
engine to deliver outstanding mileage. The DTS-Si technology gives the
highest possible fuel efficiency by introducing 'Swirl induction' to the
DTS-i engine to create turbulence in order to achieve extremely
efficient combustion.
The DTS-Si engine is far superior to the conventional 4-stroke
engines, which dominate the 100cc segment at present. With the new the
DTS-Si engine the consumer now would not have to compromise between
power and mileage. |
