Janashakthi Full Option re-defines motor insurance

Janashakthi Full Option, further revolutionises the country’s motor insurance with yet another totally consumer-centric innovation.

Adding to its rich portfolio of products, this first-of-its-kind, specially conceived offer, aptly titled - ‘My Car, My Home, My Life’ embraces all of Sri Lanka’s motor vehicle owners and offers them unprecedented benefits, like never before.

Managing Director of Janashakthi Insurance Co. Ltd. Prakash Schaffter said: “Although motor insurance gets top priority in this country, the penetration levels of Home Insurance and other types of non-motor insurance are alarmingly low.

This was one of the key reasons which led us to innovate this new scheme - ‘My Car, My Home, My Life’. We wanted to trigger off customer consciousness and create greater awareness of the need to also protect life and property in an equally comprehensive manner”.

General Manager Sales and Marketing Ravi Liyanage said that ‘My Car, My Home, My Life’ boldly breaks through the conventional boundaries of motor insurance and encompasses the insured’s home and life too, at absolutely no extra cost.

“Most Sri Lankans usually insure their vehicles only. However, unforeseen partial or total damage to one’s house will require several years, if not a lifetime, to recover from such a disaster. One might need to spend one’s entire life savings, get into major financial burdens in the form of loans, and, compromise on many other needs to recover from such a disaster”, he said.
