Call for fans to boycott Trinidad Test

....over dropping of local boy Jaggernauth:

A call has gone out for fans to boycott the Second Test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies beginning at the Queen's Park Oval, here in Trinidad on Thursday. The reason being the dropping of off spinner Amrit Jaggernauth the local boy in preference to Suleiman Benn, the 6 foot 5 inch left arm spinner whose bowling record is not as good as off spinner Jaggernauth, in the First Test.

SSC wins triple crown

SSC have done it again. This time in a more spectacular manner. They have won their third major title in the current inter club cricket season. Last week they emerged champions in the Premier League Tier 'A' tournament with an unbeaten record.

Nuwan, Gayan heroes at Gold Wing Circuit

Ceygra Super Cross Championship 2008:

Nuwan Dassanayake and Gayan Sandaruwan thilled all motor racing fans who thronged the Gold Wing Super Cross Circuit to witness the first ever Ceygra Super Cross Championship first stage on Sunday at Pannala. The sixteen year old Nuwan Dassanayake was the most outstanding winning four of the events out of seven he competed on this day.
