Vote for Sinharaja forest

Environmental and Natural Resources Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka has appealed to all environment-friendly people to cast their votes via internet for the Sinharaja forest, which has been considered as a global heritage to be selected as one of seven wonders in the world.

Votes could be exercised via www.new7wonders.com. One person could cast seven votes but for one monument of nature.

Twenty one finalists will be selected by voting throughout the year until 2009. Seven wonders of world will be selected in 2010 among the finalists.
