ANCL Vesak lantern competition winners

The 19th annual Vesak Lantern competition organised by the Lake House Buddhist Society as part of the "Amadahara Vesak Sadaham Kalapaya (Vesak Zone), concluded opposite the ANCL premises yesterday.

Around 75 competitors took part with Hayleys Consumer Products Ltd. sponsoring the event. The following competitors won the first, second and third places respectively, Prabhath Nayanajith, David Appuhami and I. Yogachandra.

Here the winners of the competition receiving their awards from Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardene. ANCL Chairman Bandula Padmakumara and ANCL Special Projects and Public Relations Manager D.S. Illesinghe were also present.
