Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva - at the helm of

Healthcare and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala
De Silva was elected as the new Chairman of the World Health
Organisation earlier this week. He is the only South Asian elected
to this prestigious position. In an interview with the Daily News,
he said he would do his utmost to make use of his position to give a
true picture of Lanka to the world and further improve Lanka's
health facilities.
