Australia, Indonesia pledge climate cooperation
The leaders of Australia and Indonesia Friday
pledged to join forces to fight climate change by saving forests and
promoting carbon trading. Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and
Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono signed on to the
Australian Indonesian Carbon Forest Partnership at Jakarta’s State
Palace after their first bilateral meeting.
