Commercial Insurance Brokers led by Anil Fonseka Carried away the
brand new Ceylinco VIP trophy when they beat Zenith Insurance Brokers in
the final at the Inaugural Invitational Insurance Brokers Cricket
"Sixes", organized & conducted by Ceylinco VIP Centre, St. Peter's
College grounds last Sunday.
The tournament participated by 10 teams was conducted on a knock-out

lost to Ceylinco Finance Insurance Brokers 46/0 in 2.4 overs. Zenith
Insurance Brokers 59/4 beat LOLC 45/5 in 3.5 overs; Commercial Insurance
Brokers 73/3 beat Senaratne Associates 36/3; MLL Insurance Brokers 56/5
in 4.5 overs beat Jay Insurance Brokers 26/5 in 4.0 overs.
Semi Finals : Ceylinco Finance Insurance Brokers 42/5 in 3.3 overs
lost to Zenith Insurance Brokers 44/3 in 4.1 overs; Commercial Insurance
Brokers 71/1 beat MLL Insurance Brokers 40/5 in 3.5 overs.
Final : Commercial Insurance Brokers 57 for 4 in 05 overs (Chandana
Bandara 25, Yasuru Silva 2/11, Chaminda Liyanagolla 1/8, Niluksha Dias
1/4) beat Zenith Insurance Brokers 32 for 4 in 05 overs (Chaminda
Liyanagolla 15, Anil Fonseka 1/3, Ashan Geeganage 2/3, Roshan Gamage
1/10).
