33 Tigers arrested in Italy
Italian Police said they have arrested 33
suspected members of Sri Lanka’s LTTE in pre-dawn raids across the
country yesterday. Police in Naples said the suspects were picked up
in 10 cities including Rome, Genoa, Bologna, Naples and Palermo at
the end of a two-year investigation.

ANURADHAPURA: Nearly 100,000 Buddhists participated in Ata-Sil
campaign (observing eight precepts) conducted at Mihintale and
Atamasthana at Anuradhapura. Devotees were mainly seen around the sacred
Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi and Ruwanmeli Seya, on Poson Full Moon Day.
