Overall market was negative with the ASPI losing
32 points (-1.3%) to close at 2,381 and the MPI losing 38 points
(-1.3%) to close at 2844. Total turnover was Rs 176 million, mainly
due to transactions in Distilleries (Rs 54.2 million), Hotel
Services (Rs 29.4 million) and Janashakthi Insurance (Rs 19.1
million)
