The ICASL called upon the expertise of MTI Consulting to develop and
strategically align the Institute for the future.
The project began with an analysis of the Institute's current
position in the professional education provider category.
Keeping in mind the ICASL mission of being the premier national body
of Accountants, MTI's globally acclaimed 8S Model was applied to
reinforce the Institutes mission and realign its future direction.
This involved intensive stakeholder research and planning to arrive
at the appropriate strategy for the future stance of the Institute.
ICASL which is a member of the International Federation of
Accountants and is the sole Accounting Standards setting authority in
Sri Lanka has passed out over 3,000 members and currently has a student
base of approximately 25,000.
The new strategic directional plan that has been conceptualised and
developed by MTI Consulting for the ICASL would enable the Institute to
provide a better service for its stakeholders.
