Lanka invites Tata

The BoI will invite Indian automobile giant, Tata to set up their new Nano car plant in Sri Lanka.

Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Dr Sarath Amunugama said they hope to invite Tata to set up their new Nano car plant in Sri Lanka as a BoI venture.

Earlier Tata had plans to set up the plant in Bengal. But now Chennai and Punjab too are keen on attracting this investment of Tata.


Job fair for disabled

The Employers' Network on Disability of the Employers' Federation of Ceylon (EFC) organised a pre-screening of disabled job seekers for suitable jobs on Saturday, August 23 at the head office of John Keells Holdings PLC, Colombo 2.
