PM congratulates Nepali PM

Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickramanayaka has congratulated and expressed his best wishes to Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on being appointed the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.

Stating in the congratulatory message that Nepal and Sri Lanka have developed very close relations with long cultural and historical ties, PM Wickramanayaka says both countries are within the framework of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation.

Similarly, he expressed confidence that during the Premiership of Prachanda ties between the two countries would be bolstered.
