JVP WPC member joins NFF

COLOMBO: JVP Western Provincial Councillor Kingsley Kasturiarachchi yesterday joined the National Freedom Front (NFF).

Addressing the media at the NFF headquarters in Battaramulla after joining the NFF, Kasturiarachchi said the party has detracted from its original objectives under the present leadership and he joined the NFF to prevent the JVP members from being stranded by its present leadership. The policy stand taken by the party leadership in the recent past led to its set back at the recent North Cental and Sabaragamuwa Provincial Councils polls.

"I find it difficult to engage in politics with JVP. The expectation of the JVP membership at grass root level can not be met under the present leadership. I dedicate my whole political life to make their expectation a reality, he said.
