Economy records 7 per cent growth

Vanik creditors waive Rs. 2.7b interest

Creditors of debt ridden merchant bank - Vanik Incorporation Ltd have agreed to waive Rs. 2.7 billion in lieu of equity in the company to the value of Rs. 1.3 billion.
