Loyala College enter quarter-finals

Loyala College, Negombo notched up two victories in the under 15 division two cricket tournament matches played recently to qualify for the quarter-finals.

They beat Christ Church, Matale by 163 runs and Ranpokunagama College by eight runs.

Loyala College, Negombo vs Christ Church College played at Matale:

Loyala College 240 for 9 in 50 overs (Anjana Perera 60 n.o., Tharindu 45, Kasun 3 for 51).

Christ Church College, Kotte 77 all out (Kasun 21, Nimesh Priyashan 4 for 7, Shramal Harshana 3 for 19).

Loyala College won by 163 runs.

Loyala College qualified for the quarter finals.

Loyala College vs Ranpokunagama College played at Negombo:

Loyala College batting first 215 all out in 39 overs (Mithuna Perera 48, Shramal Harshana 40, Anjuna Perera 30, R. R. Silva 2 for 59).

Ranpokunagama College 207 all out (C. Sampath 31, Sharmal Harshana 3 for 21, Supun 3 for 33).

Loyala College won by eight runs.
