Billion Bank of Ceylon (BoC), will launch a rare
product and hence a not to be missed investment opportunity- a LKR
denominated debenture to be listed on the Main Board of the Colombo
Stock Exchange (CSE).

debt. Of the total medium and long-term debt, the
Government debt accounts for as much as 91 per cent,
with the remaining 9 per cent representing borrowings of
both the private sector and public corporations and debt
obligations to the IMF. Of the government’s external
debt stock, confessional debt accounts for about 86 per
