Royal College, Panadura won the Cup Championship beating Nugawela
Central College Kandy by 20 (4 tries) to 5 (one try) in the under-16 all
Island Division two 10-a-side rugby tournament final played at
Kurunegala Maligapitiya Grounds on 18th and 19th October.

Lalith Athulathmudali Vidyalaya, Mount Lavinia won the plate
championship by beating Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya by 22-0 (3 tries
1 goal) to nil while Sarasavi Uyana MV, Kandy won Bowl Championship
beating kurunegala D.B. Welagedara MMV by 12 points (1 try, 1 goal) to
nil.
More than 350 players from 24 schools from the island took part in
the grand final, organised by the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football
Association and sponsored by Nestle Lanka Ltd.
The chief guest was Dr. Punyadasa Kuruppu of SLSRFA and the Principal
of Isipatana College Colombo, the guest of honour Bandula Egodage,
External Affairs and Promotion Manager Nestle Lanka Ltd.
